​Ruby Zhu

She was born in 1998. In June 2022, she was graduated from the Bachelor of Digital Media (Design) in RMIT University.

She is active in the short video and photography industries. She directed and co-produced a series of short videos about food in her hometown. The videos, which were posted on the Chinese version of Tiktok and online platform Little Red Book, received an average of 300,000 views each. Let her hometown food into the eyes of Chinese viewers.

She places great emphasis on the connection between the chef and the food which is dedicated to exploring the stories behind food. These stories make the short videos vibrant and interesting. They can get more deeply resonate with the audience.

Her background in music production made her more fastidious about making audio for short videos. Each video was edited and shot with her own ingenuity.

Her photographs are also very close to life. She is good at using photographs to show the entire space and atmosphere in tiny parts of subject.
